domestic context, foreign context, likely consequences
An academic expert will give his views on the relationship between party politics and foreign policy, an Israeli journalist will speak about the personal dynamics of the key figures in the election and a British journalist will speak on international perceptions.
Confirmed Panellists:
Dr Amnon Aran, Lecturer and Middle East expert, Department of International Relations, LSE. Author of the first attempt to theorise the relationships between foreign policy and globalisation and author of ‘The final chance at peace?’ the widely distributed March 2008 paper examining the political context post-Annapolis.
Nadav Eyal, Europe Correspondent for Ma'ariv, former senior political analyst and columnist; also political analyst for Israeli radio and television.
Anton La Guardia, Defence & Security Editor of the Economist, former Diplomatic Editor & Middle East Correspondent of The Daily Telegraph.
