Nigel Salomon |
Responsible for
• Creating and implementing the BFHU strategy with sound financial and administrative controls

• Ensuring the team remains passionate about the cause and motivated to achieve their objectives
• Driving strong profile and a positive reputation for the BFHU and the Hebrew University

Michael Mail |
Responsible for
- Devising and implementing annual BFHU fundraising strategy
- Working with Board of Trustees to develop role of organisation
- Recruiting, motivating and guiding volunteer activists
- Strategising on and implementing approaches to major philanthropists/Foundations, including arranging University visits for current and potential donors.
- Liaising closely with the University and individual academics, developing focused project proposals across the breadth of the University’s activities
Michael has a Law Degree from Strathclyde University, a Masters from Brandeis University, and is also a graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s one year programme. He has had a career working in a number of leadership roles within the charity sector, and is also an award-winning author.

Gill Benson |
Responsible for
• Managing and developing the Legacy Campaign
• Promoting and organising Legacy Missions
• Co-ordinating the Legal Group and promoting and organising all legal group events
• Promoting opportunities to study at the University and administering student scholarship applications
Gill is a family law solicitor and has recently spent her time managing a registered care home and also works for a charity that provides supported sheltered accommodation for the elderly.

Rona Zinman |
Responsible for
• Creating and developing the UK alumni department
• Producing Alumni marketing material
• Expanding and updating the Alumni database
• Managing the Alumni e-marketing
Rona is a qualified lawyer and worked as the spokesperson for member of the Israeli Knesset, Michael Eitan. She is an HU alumna, having obtained her MA in Political communications at the Hebrew University. Rona is also the Deputiy Editor of the Israeli magazine Alondon, for Israelis in London.

Alison Baker Administrator |
Responsible for
• Administration of Endowment and Annual Scholarships
• Management of the Charity’s Annual Appeals
• Co-Ordinator for the Women’s Group Committee/fundraising events
• Management of the Charity’s database
• General donor administration
Alison worked as an administrator in a number of commercial situations before joining BFHU, initially as a volunteer.

- Financial reporting
- Statutory reporting
- Business planning and budget overseeing
- Liaison with external statutory authorities
